A debatable question for which answers are yet to be found.
Drinking coffee is widespread in many parts of the world and we have nearly half of the human population consuming the beverage concocted in one form or the other, using many original and singular methods.
The recipe for making coffee is simple. You extract the seeds, or beans, from the coffee plant, roast it, grind it and extract its essence which is known as coffee decoction. You then either drink it black or add a splash of milk and sugar before serving.
So, what’s this big deal about it being bad for health?
Well, the specialist and dietitians would queue up to argue their case stating the demerits of prolonged and excessive coffee-drinking, most of which is true.
Coffee is a blend that drastically influences your adrenal gland leaving you stimulated and interferes with absorption of Iron, leaving you pale and anemic.
However, it also possesses a few redeeming qualities. It regulates bowel movement and its anti-oxidant properties slow down cancer onset. Coffee is also known to help put off Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
So, the question, ‘Is coffee healthy?’ has no definite answer. Moderate coffee drinkers have no reason to worry about the risks associated with the beverage, and in fact, can enjoy the benefits better than both the non-drinkers and excessive-drinkers.
